A Growth Group is a close-knit community of 8–12 people who meet weekly to deepen their faith through practices such as prayer, Bible study, worship, discipleship, and learning to hear God’s voice together.
Hebrews 10:24
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.”
We have open sign ups for each of our growth groups in between sessions.
The next sign up period will be in May of 2025.
Group members are responsible to arrange child care for their children, unless the house is designated for children to attend.
Bring your Bible, a notebook, and a pen or pencil.
If your group requires a specific book, your group leader will let you know!
Sermon & Scripture Growth Groups will focus on the message from the previous Sunday.
Prayer Boot Camp and SALO classes provide a more in-depth approach to the specific areas of prayer and learning how to hear God's voice and have their own materials.
Other groups may use a specific additional book for their study.
Some groups require homework ahead of time (ex: watching the sermon, journaling, or using a workbook) while others will have the bulk of the study completed during your weekly meeting.
Joining a growth group is a commitment to attend each week and to do the homework ahead of time.
The purpose of homework isn't to give you busy work, but to help you get the most out of your learning by providing opportunities to grow during the week.
Attend as much as you can.
The purpose of these groups is to promote spiritual maturity and personal growth through meaningful Christian relationships and study of God’s Word. The more you show up, the more opportunity you have to get the most out of the group.
